Some buyers prefer exclusive buyer's agents to those who also list homes. By
employing a representative who only works on one side of the transaction, you're
getting a specialized agent who most likely won't have a conflict of interest
during the transaction, said Tom Early, president of the National Association
for Exclusive Buyer Agents (www.naeba.org).
Another benefit of a specialized buyer's agent: "You get pretty
good at what you're doing when you're wearing the same hat every day," Early
said.
